December 2008

Mead Garden  – a great outdoor wedding site booked through the City of Winter Park.  While there are 2 small dressing rooms w/restrooms available, if you haven’t booked the Garden Club for your reception, the only weather back-up might be a picnic pavilion on the far side of the parking lot – if it’s not already reserved.

This is the Winter Park Garden Club building. Not a lot of “wow,'” but it can hold about 125 comfortably with a dance floor, and looks great with linens, chair covers (suggested), and a little lighting. It’s right by Mead Garden, but you have to book them separately.  Caution: they do share the same parking lot, so if you only book one for your event, you could be surprised if there is another event at the other site.
